Mother’s Day Gift Guide

With Mother’s Day soon approaching gift guides are filling up my Instagram feed. I thought I would add to the mix and throw in some of my ideas as well. While these are not all things I own, I wouldn’t mind receiving them myself (hint, hint, Babe…). The fact that our children are not in school and “homemade” gifts will not be presenting themselves on Mother’s Day morning, means that dads and kids alike will find these gift guides even more useful this year.

Pajamas:

As I have gotten older, one of the things I appreciate more than anything is matching pajama sets. They don’t have to be expensive, but they do need to be comfortable. I am also a sucker for a pant set. I love to sleep in pants. So I have included both a short set and the long set in this gift guide.

Purse:

I love purses and especially one that is small and not designed to hold all the diapers, snacks, and wipes. This small type of bag like the Tory Burch small camera crossbody purse is perfect for date nights with my husband. It's great at holding fun things like lipstick, my phone, and some gum. I also love a small card case like the Tory Burch pink one. Simple and easy to store ID, credit cards, and a little cash.

Drink Mixes and Cups:

Have you ever tried any of the soup starters or cocktail mixes from William-Sonoma? I recently had a chance to try their soup starters and they were delicious. But, soup weather is almost over and I’m thinking for Mother’s Day a yummy cocktail or mocktail is in order. So the Organic Pineapple Jalapeño Margarita mix is a great option. Serve this yummy drink in the beautiful rattan glassware or the tie-dye colored acrylic drinkware from Anthropology.

Sunglasses & Hats:

Who doesn’t want to protect their Mom against harmful UV rays, all the while, giving her a fashionable way to do so. This white hat with black grosgrain ribbon is so pretty and elegant. Styled with the Tory Burch sunglasses, your Mom will look stunning and feel safe. Perfect for the upcoming weather and protection from the sun!

Toiletry Bag and Floss:

Hands down Cocofloss is the best floss on the market. I love this floss for many reasons, but mainly because I am a dental hygienist and can’t find any other floss that compares to Cocofloss and its ability to clean in between the teeth. Every woman loves to carry all their goodies in a fun toiletry bag—especially if it has her initials on it! This blue linen bag is beautiful and comes in a variety of colors.

Earrings and a Dress:

I wear these faux diamond earrings almost every day. They are elegant, classic, and simple. They are beautifully made and glamorous. Style these earrings with a fun dress like this blue and white floral option for a fun spring look.

Kitchen Decor:

I know most women don’t want a bunch of cookware for Mother’s Day, but I couldn’t refuse these mini round cocottes with flower knobs by Le Creuset. The rattan basket with the dainty floral design is a perfect catchall for the kitchen or to serve bread in. Mainly this basket is just a fun piece to have out and displayed in your kitchen.

Outdoor Pillows:

With the spring weather upon us, Mom might want to relax outside, and having a few extra throw pillows will make it feel even cozier. These beautiful outdoor pillows can be purchased from Serena and Lily. They are also having a 20% off sale on just about EVERYTHING.

Happy (Early) Mother's Day!
